ARTIST NOTES: This linoprint of a barista at the coffee machine in "The General" café captures a moment of daily ritual. Cafés, like "The General," are modern gathering spaces, where community forms and everyday interactions take shape. In this piece, the barista becomes a central figure, quietly facilitating these connections as they craft the perfect cup of coffee.
Through my artistic practice, I explore the relationship between people and place, reflecting on the way communities gather and form bonds in shared spaces. Whether it’s the bustle of a café or the quiet moments in nature, my work seeks to reveal the invisible threads that link us all- our shared rituals, environments, and the spaces we inhabit together.
